REV. Emily Duggan - Lead Minister (SHE/ HER)
Emily grew up in Northern Ontario and made her way to the Maritimes to attend Dalhousie University for her Undergraduate Degree. She attended Emmanuel College in Toronto for her Master of Divinity and was Ordained by Manitou Conference in 2013. Her first call brought her back to the Maritimes to the Louisbourg Pastoral Charge in Catalone and Louisbourg, Cape Breton, where she served for 13 years. Emily, her husband Tim, and their children Grace and Angus, are excited to join the St. John’s United Church family. They look forward to many adventures of hiking, swimming, canoeing and enjoying the beauty of the Fall River community.
Emily joined St. John's in August 2026.
REV. Jenny Eisener- Family Minister & OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR (SHE/ HER)
Jenny is originally from Southwestern Ontario, she came to Nova Scotia in 2014 and is happy to call NS her home. Jenny has served in Mennonite and Baptist congregations with the focus on children and youth. Jenny was received as a United Church Minister in May of 2026. She is married to Charlie and has a step-son and daughter. As a family, they love going for walks with their dog and going on country drives.
Jenny has served St. John's since November of 2021.

Peter Thamer is our Music Director and musician at St. John’s United Church.
Our music team meet with the ministry team throughout the year to select the wonderful music we hear each Sunday during our worship.
